Privacy Policy

At Forma Pilates, your privacy is very important to us. We are committed to handling your personal data responsibly and in accordance with the revised Swiss Data Protection Act (revDSG) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The principles for processing personal data are set out in Art. 6 revDSG and include, among others, the following obligations, which are known to us:

  • Personal data may only be processed lawfully.

  • Processing must be done in good faith and must be proportionate.

  • Personal data may only be collected for a specific and recognizable purpose and must be processed only in a way that is compatible with this purpose.

  • Personal data must be deleted or anonymized as soon as it is no longer required for the intended processing purpose.

  • Anyone who processes personal data must ensure its accuracy. They must take all reasonable measures to ensure that data that is incorrect or incomplete in relation to the processing purpose is corrected, deleted, or destroyed. The appropriateness of these measures depends in particular on the nature and scope of the processing and the risks it poses to the personality or fundamental rights of the individuals concerned.

We specifically confirm the following:

Record of Processing Activities

If we have 250+ employees (headcount), or process sensitive data on a large scale, or conduct high-risk profiling, we maintain a record of our data processing activities.

Privacy Policy

Any planned collection of personal data not required by law is included in our privacy policy (DSE). Individuals are informed about the DSE (via terms and conditions, forms, apps, etc.). The DSE is published on our website, if we have one.

Data Processors

If we entrust an IT provider or another party with processing our data, we enter into a data processing agreement (DPA).

Reporting Data Breaches

If the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of personal data is compromised and there is a high risk of negative consequences for individuals, we report the incident to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

Upholding Data Subject Rights

We verify individuals' identities in advance. Upon request, we provide individuals with access to their personal data and certain additional information. Individuals can request data correction or deletion. In certain cases, we are required to disclose personal data.

Privacy by Default

Where settings in apps, on websites, etc., relate to privacy, the default settings are configured to the minimum necessary to ensure that the processing of personal data is limited to what is strictly required for its intended purpose.

Confidentiality

We keep personal data entrusted to us for professional purposes confidential, unless it has been clearly communicated in advance that the data will not be kept confidential.
